Please note, if you work for a Dutch organisation in the Netherlands or for a Dutch organisation in the Gulf region, please, register as a Dutch participant! Only participants who work for foreign companies in the Gulf region, should register as a Gulf participant.
Sector focus
We particularly recommend the participation of public & private sector representatives active in or interested in the following sectors:
- Food (focusing on: agriculture & food; horticulture and propagation materials)
- Energy (focusing on: renewable energy (in particular solar energy and hydrogen); clean energy technologies; offshore energy and the energy transition)
- Water (focusing on: water management; drinking water technology; waste water technology)
During this online mission representatives and specialists from the aforementioned sectors will share their knowledge and insights with you. Please note that sessions might be recorded.
For organisations in Gulf region
This mission offers the opportunity to learn more about the Dutch aforementioned sectors, to meet new contacts and to explore new business opportunities. The programme of events holds various webinars, discussions and 1:1 matchmaking sessions (For more details, visit Agenda in top bar).

For Gulf organizations, the participation is free of charge.

For Dutch organisations

Are you an organisation from the Netherlands or from the Dutch islands in the Caribbean and do you have innovative solutions for societal challenges in the water, energy, food or health sector(s)? And do you want to do business and build or expand contacts in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman? Then take part in this virtual trade mission with Sigrid Kaag, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, from March 22nd to April 1st, 2021. Ingrid Thijssen, president of VNO-NCW and Jacco Vonhof, president of MKB Nederland, are business delegation leaders.
During this mission, we will open the conversation with various counterparts from the Gulf region (Oman and United Arab Emirates) on aforementioned sectors. The programme of events holds various webinars, discussions and 1:1 matchmaking sessions (For more details, visit Agenda in top bar).

Costs
Paricipation fee for this virtual mission is € 250 per Dutch organisation, with a maximum of 2 participants per organisation. For every third and following participant of said organisation, the fee is € 125.
Please note that tailor made matchmaking can only be offered to Dutch organizations who register before 12 February 2021. Registration for tailor made matchmaking is now closed!
You always have the option to schedule 1-on-1 appointments at your own initiative via this platform, even if you have not registered for the tailor made matchmaking.
